Land Pirate

So I'm walking home from the bar and I come across a man wearing military boots, a utilikilt, and an eye patch....

I wish I had a punchline for this, but actually that really happened tonight (except it was Borders not a bar.)

Graduation Redux

My reasoning for moving to the great Emerald City has now been completed: as of two weeks ago, I am officially the holder of design degree from The Art Institute of Seattle! It was two years that absolutely flew by, but at the same time I've learned a boatload of new skills and have gotten to live/enjoy a really great city (that seems to be building in every square inch of available property.) My parents and Jon & Kristin were able to make it up here to celebrate and have a look around for a week. I'm planning to stay here for the foreseeable future so now the next part has begun...

...and it's kept me incredibly busy the last week and a half. I've been scouring sites and resources to see what positions are available and what companies look promising to try and peddle my wares to. I've had six interviews so far, another one lined up tomorrow, a good possibility of a number more in the near future, as well as some freelance opportunities I'm attempting to set up (figuring out the business side of things without any prior knowledge and next to no advice can be incredibly worrisome) and at the same time attempting to study more of my work. That being said, I'm really anxious and eager to land a position that'll allow me to use my skills, learn them even further, and most importantly - pay me. If you'd like to see my current portfolio, swing over to www.jasonwbullok.com (intuitive, yeah?) and let me know what ya think!
