Hold High your Bats!
13-9!!!
Did anyone see this besides me? The Royals (laughing stock of the Major Leagues last season) battled back last night to defeat the Goliaths of Baseball, the Yankees. Wow, what a game. Can't say much for the pitching, but man was it a fun one to watch. The two teams square off again here in about 40 minutes. I for one will be rooting them on vicariously.
I was browsing around a Wes Anderson site today (it may be the "official one", who knows). Anyways, I found the original
Bottle Rocket short. It's basically just a couple of the scenes from the movie, but it's still interesting to see how apparently low-budget they created it for. It fills me with precious inspiration. If only I could get my hands on some camera equipment...
I'm also attempting to become more knowledgeable on the subjects of Web Design, Linux, and Photography in the coming few weeks. If you would like to help support my attempt, please feel free to show your support monetarily (I do accept PayPal).

The Return of Restlessness
Callooh! Callay! I have reaquired the internet! The world is now
mine!!!
Simply put, this means I will be blogging more, downloading more music, reading more articles, etc, etc, etcetera from now on. In fact, I've hardly moved from this chair since I awoke this morning. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Well, maybe a little something. Anyways, I've downloaded some fun music in the last 12 hours or so. Might I reccommend: Run Dog Run by
Army of Mars, I Refuse by
Sense Field. and Now That I Miss Her by
Elefant to name a few. Just doing my part to spread some good indie rock around. Rock. And. Roll.
But back to baseball- The Royals won again today (2 IN A ROW!) to keep there ever-so-slight 1/2 game lead over the coach-attacking morons from South Chicago. Beltran, Harvey, and Randa all didn't play today. Hopefully Beltran and Randa were just taking a day off. Not that we wouldn't miss Harvey. He has a great glove but his bat seems to swing at any pitch thrown within 5 yards of the strike zone. If he could improve his hitting, he would be of greater value. The Hunka-Hunka Burning Glove (RunELVYS Hernandez) actually pitched a whole 7 innings today, which is encouraging. We'll especially need good pitching at the beginning of this week since we have to face off with the Money Grubbers.
